I can't remember a time that soccer/futbol was not part of my life. In one of the earliest photos of me, I'm wearing my favorite soccer team's shirt. My father and uncles would take me to soccer games every time I'd travel to Argentina. Watching my club team and the national team has probably been my strongest connection to Argentina throughout the years - a constant way to check in.

Last summer I had the opportunity to travel to Latin America to study teenagers and their relationship to soccer. This book is a testament to both their love and my love for the game.
